How do you use quotes as decoration in a room?
I definitely label myself as a “writer.” When it comes to room decor, I absolutely love more modern, streamline furniture (in blacks and silvers), but I also like the contrast between black and white. When it comes to accessories, I like a mixture of things. I’m not afraid of color. I have a lava lamp, little beanie baby, a bumblebee pillow pet, and a piggy bank among other things. I’m even into the idea of hanging masks on the wall (more mardi gras masks than anything else).One of the things I absolutely LOVE are quotes and music. Now, I’m a huge fan of acoustic guitars, harp, violin, cello, and piano- silver bank baby HOWEVER, I care more about the lyrics than the music itself. I would love to find a way to bring in a lot of lyrics, poetry, and general quotes into room design. I want something that’s not as tacky as sticking paper on a wall, and I have too many favorite quotes to use wall decals for everything (there is one quote that I WOULD put on my wall like that, but that’s it).So any ideas for using quotes as decor?
