People usually give money because the baby is so young and it can help out the parents. I think a savings bond in his name would be nice (a little more personalized than cash). Maybe you can get him a nice crucifix to hang on his wall or I know precious moments makes a baptism statue/figurine. Good Luck!

Find a good book for each of them. Look for something that would relate to each of them seperately. Some extra message that they could use in life.

When my niece was baptised I got her an engraved picture frame with her baptismal date on it. Hope that helps!

Yes, my sister and I just through my son a baptism, and we went to a local craft store and bought small crosses, painted them blue, or you could do pink if a girl, then we wrote his name on it with a silver pen, and put the sticky sided magnets on it, and then people could use them on there fridges as a keepsakes. We also used the porcelin crosses from the dollar store as balloon weights and let guests take those home as well. Or you could get religious shaped cookie cutters, and make cookies, and wrap them up pretty and give those also.

Standard would be a 50 or 75 dollar bond (your cost $25 or $37.50).You could go to a religious store & they’ll help you pick out something appropriate.

i would say a necklace or bracelet depending on age(with insccription)even if he is to have a cloth to dry his head or a blanket he uses special for the day, you could have a nice one made embroidered to save

You could always get a cross necklace or a small BIble. Anything that is Religious will do.Good luck!

I’d go with jewelery too. But I don’t think I’d get her a ring. She should have something that she could keep forever. I’d definitely go with a pendant. Or even an amulet ,if you get time to get one blessed. Congratulations :)

Welcome to the anti-Catholic bigots’ favorite hide-out. Not the best place for nice little questions like yours (as I’m sure you’ve noticed by now). The best gift I can think of for baby’s Baptism is a gold medal of the Immaculate Conception to pin to the child’s baptismal garment. Often this is a gift of a godparent, so it’s wise to check first. These medals are even available now with accompanying gold safety pin!
