look around your town to see how many branch locations are open and how many of its ATM machines are around town, making it easier for you to make a deposit or to withdraw cash. which of these banks give you free checking and a free credit/debit card? banks are solely in the business of making money and doing nothing else. they make money on all of the money in their (your) accounts every day, as well as on any financial products they offer, like mortgages, loans. these days, what with all the online banking and automatic bill payment features (electronic payments to your creditors from your checking/savings account) offered by everyone else, i can’t see how any bank stays in the business of making money if they don’t offer you the above free, since then, you will put your money into another competitor’s bank and then IT will make the money!

The current excuse for moeny that we pass around has no value. It is actually fiat currency. That is sort of why it is easier for inflation now. The money has no backing, like gold or silver. It is only worth whatever you can get for it. This happened during Richard Nixon’s presidency. Long time ago , huh?

Colloidal silver………..its a scam!!!Go to Pubmed [a database of medical abstracts] and type argyria:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrezYou get 376 hits!!!Why would you want a pre-victorian quasy medicine when you can either have medically prescribed antibiotics that work and are life saving in fact or if you don’t need those and maybe want a preventative you can take grapefruit seed extract or oil of oregano instead as these both have powerful antibiotic [and antiviral and antifungal] properties and are safe…..unlike silver. Take a probiotic alongside any antibiotic [including herbal] to replenish gut friendly organisms that will also be removed, and continue to take this for at least a week after cessation of the antibiotic treatment. Stay away from silver. It is potentially toxic. Check out some of those medical abstracts on that medical link above. Thanks.

First of all lat me thank you for such a wonderful question, you are correct every investment benefits the humanity. But help me in looking at money this way.Money has always been a problem if you have it or if you do not have it. So managing money is some thing very different than earning it. Basically all our money related decisions are governed by our FEAR and GREED. How much of the two we have and manage and how much of the two is managed by advisors around us. Now to the very nature of your personality will decide more than any thing else where your money will end up. Still the bottom line is it’s neither your money nor my money we are just a short stop for the money it will continue its journey…JOIN MY GROUP FOR LATEST UPDATEShttp://in.groups.yahoo.com/group/minabazar/join

A $100 worth of grocieries in 2009 would have cost $7.86 in 1930.http://www.westegg.com/inflation/infl.cgi

Silver dimes and quarters are getting harder to find in rolls due to both denominations circulate. That means they get out into the public and a lot of people who are not really collectors take them for the silver content. It seems that 1/2 dollar rolls are a better bet for 40% silver 1/2’s 1965-1970 as well as some 90% halves 1964 and before. 1/2 dollar rolls are usually too expensive for the younger collectors. Unless one really knows there coins, ebay is a place to stay away from for a lot of reasons. Roosevelt dimes are still not very expensive and it would not hurt to put a nice set of the silver ones together, but you will have to get them from a coin dealer. Also put a clad set together for some of them are getting scarce that can be done from change or rolls from the bank. Try to find dimes with nice strikes especially the torch on the reverse. Above all have fun.

You wouldn’t want to do this as the price of sliver is far greater than face value. Find a coin broker in your area or put it up on ebay. You’ll find people who will pay far more than face value. I just bought some uncirculated Morgans for a little more than $20 a piece.

What makes you think the dollar is going to collapse? The US dollar is stronger than the Euro… that’s a lot of countries right there alone.
