I don’t know much about Houston but I believe you may have an easier time if you look at things from a different point of view.When you owned your business, did you really work for yourself? In the end our customers are the “boss” for whom we work. Similarly your boss at your new company (congrats on the gig) is very much one of your customers.Remember to allow yourself to be “the new guy” (no matter how easy a job may seem to be, there is ultimately a reason people are paid to do it). It’s OK to make mistakes, what is important is how you react to your mistakes (best not to panic) and how often you make the same one.Ask yourself what are your goals now? Being “all business” I assume that you are trying to raise capital for your next business venture. So you are not working a dead end job, you are raising capitol.I am curious how you managed to raise the capital for your failed business without having had to work “for” someone else.
